ACID Pro Cricket — Handmade Bat Returns Policy

At ACID Pro Cricket, every bat is individually handcrafted to the highest standard. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

Your Right to Return

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to return most items within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the item is in its original, unused, and undamaged condition. This 14-day window begins on the day you receive your bat.

Condition Requirements — Important

Because our bats are handmade products, we apply strict condition standards when assessing returns. Any bat returned with dents, scratches, scuff marks, or any signs of use or impact will not meet the legal requirements for a return of a handmade good and will be rejected. Please inspect your bat carefully upon receipt and contact us immediately if there is an issue with the bat as delivered.

Bespoke & Custom Orders

By law, bespoke and custom-made items are exempt from the standard 14-day return right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you have contacted us to arrange a bat made to a custom or bespoke specification — including non-standard sizing — your order cannot be returned or refunded as a matter of law. Any discretionary goodwill gesture in such cases is entirely at the discretion of ACID Pro Cricket.

Return Shipping

We do not arrange or cover the cost of return shipping. It is your responsibility to arrange and pay for the return of the bat to us. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured courier service, as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during the return transit. If your bat is returned to us in a damaged condition caused by the courier, your dispute lies with the courier and their insurance — not with ACID Pro Cricket. We will not issue a refund for damage caused during return shipping.

Partial Refunds

If a bat is returned to us within the 14-day window but is in a poor or unsatisfactory condition that does not fully meet our return standards, ACID Pro Cricket reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to offer a partial refund. Depending on the condition of the bat upon return, this may be a half-price (50%) or quarter-price (25%) refund of the original bat price.

Delivery Charges

Original delivery charges are non-refundable under any circumstances.

To initiate a return, please contact us before sending anything back. Returns sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted. Contact us using the contact tab on the ACID Pro website.
