Butterfly willow is grade three English willow. The name butterfly comes from the typical wood staining that mirrors the same effect either side of the stain, similar to a butterfly's wings. This stain tends to be denser which means the bats typically are heavier so we wont allow bats below the weight range of 2lb 9.5oz. The density typically means the butterfly bats are far more durable than normal English willow. Fantastic performance is well documented online with Salix butterfly willow bats.
Labels are a glowing blue on black with white ACID wording.
The ACID range is a full back profile with semi squared toe and semi oval handle. Oval towards the bottom of the handle and rounder towards the top. Peak edge thickness is slightly higher on the bat than standard shapes in order maximise pickup. The pressing technique used is aimed at creating an extended performance hitting zone.
